About Paola Bagnall

I have a degree in Biology and am a qualified teacher with over thirty years’ experience, formerly in a comprehensive school and then in a sixth-form college.  I retired from teaching in July 2004 to take up hypnotherapy full time.
 
I became interested in hypnotherapy when I learnt self-hypnosis in order to control the pain from a shoulder injury.  I discovered the innate ability we all have to heal ourselves, if we desire to, by harnessing the Inner Power of the mind.
 
I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist from the LifeForce School of Therapeutic Hypnotherapy at Regents College, London. 
 
I was trained in Self-Hypnosis at Imperial College, Knightsbridge, London.
 
I specialise in:

	Working with cancer patients, helping them to remain calm and in control of their treatment with minimal side effects
	Working with ME patients, helping them to have more energy and control any pain
	Working with  IBS, and many other illnesses, helping the client to be more relaxed and so in control of their health
	Overcoming phobias
	Overcoming panic attacks
	Better quality sleep
	Hypnobirthing, helping mothers to enjoy a wonderfully natural pregnancy and childbirth

I am fully covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance.

I am a director of The Hypnotherapy Association.

I am on the UK Hypnotherapy Register. 

I am on the National Public Register of Hypnotherapists. I am therefore UKCHO registered and my unique Registration Number is 80091. UKCHO stands for UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations.

I am bound by a Code of Practice and Ethics which ensures the highest level of care.
